JNU and their self-motivated student leaders likes to hit the chart of the news at regular intervals. Now, the train services has resumed, seeing this the JNU Inter-Hostel Administration has announced students can return to campus on or after 25 June 2020. Till then online classes are on. A circular was already issued though due to lockdown extension, there were change in dates.
JNU has residential campus but due to virus outrage it was asked by all to vacate. However, students still want to be back stating that proper transportation is not there for their respective places. Some have been making temporary arrangements.
The Students’ Union opposed the circular, saying the university was deliberately putting students’ lives and safety at risk. Self-motivated student leaders, have habit of forbidding any instructions given to them. They also opposed installation of CCTV cameras in the campus and at hostel gates.
